Descripción

This 8-lesson Learning Plan is an English-adapted summary of Hidayaat Surat Yusuf, a collective Qur’anic guidance work compiled by a group of specialists and students from fields including tafsir, qira’at, hadith, creed, fiqh, Arabic, education, and other disciplines, through a specialized Qur’anic guidance group. The work was produced under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Taha Abidin Taha Hamad, Professor of Tafsir and Qur’an Sciences at Umm al-Qura University. It presents the essential guidance of Surah Yusuf as a Qur’anic story of patience, purity, family trial, hidden divine care, da‘wah, responsibility, forgiveness, and trust in Allah’s plan.

It follows the story from its opening as part of the clear Quran through Yusuf’s dream, his brothers’ envy, the well, the house of the Aziz, the trial of temptation, prison, public responsibility, reunion, forgiveness, and gratitude to Allah. The lessons show how Allah’s decree moves through hardship and ease and how the believer learns patience, chastity, hope, and gratitude through the unfolding of events.

Topics Covered

Quranic stories as guidance, not entertainment

Yusuf’s dream and wise parenting

Envy, sibling conflict, and Satan’s influence

The well, false evidence, and beautiful patience
